Talay goes on sale as the first homes at Marsa Al Saadiyat
Aldar launched Talay on 17 September: 351 standalone villas with four to six bedrooms, the first residential community in Marsa Al Saadiyat. Sales opened on 23 September.
What it means for buyers: This 2 October digest cited Aldar's property listing at AED 13.5M. The hub comparison now uses AED 12.6M; request a current price list before deciding. Talay Beach has no published price yet.
Aldar reports more than AED 5 billion in sales across Talay and Yas Riva Reserve
Aldar said on 29 September that the Talay and Yas Riva Reserve launches together brought in more than AED 5 billion of sales, without a split by project.
What it means for buyers: Aldar has not said how many Talay villas remain, so availability needs checking with its sales team.
Sei Saadiyat: 778 homes planned in the Cultural District, first phase on sale
Aldar announced Sei Saadiyat on 7 September: 778 apartments and lofts in six buildings. The first phase, 265 homes in two buildings, went on sale on 16 September.
What it means for buyers: Aldar's Sei page gives a starting price of AED 2.95M on a 50/50 plan with 5% down. Editor's update, 9 October: Aldar's current Sei page lists expected handover in Q4 2030.
New road link from southern Saadiyat due in 2027
The Department of Municipalities and Transport said phase one of the AED 2.85 billion Mid-Island Parkway is scheduled for completion in 2027.
What it means for buyers: DMT expects trips to Reem Island or the main island to fall from about 25 to 10 minutes once open.
Eligible off-plan homes in Abu Dhabi can now be mortgaged before handover
WAM reported that Aldar and ADCB completed the first mortgage registered under the new off-plan framework. Once a buyer has paid 50% of the price, a bank can fund the remaining instalments before handover.
What it means for buyers: ADREC says the service is open market-wide to participating banks, for eligible units.
Saadiyat Grove set to open in Q4 2026
Aldar said Saadiyat Grove, its retail and dining destination next to Louvre Abu Dhabi, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, is due to open in Q4 2026 with more than 100 brands.
Guggenheim Abu Dhabi opens on 11 December; tickets on sale
WAM reported that ticket sales have opened for Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, ahead of its opening on 11 December 2026 on Saadiyat Island.
SEHA's Saadiyat clinic now open 24 hours
